About Me
My name is Kyra Northup, and I’m a recent college graduate with my BFA in graphic design from Kendall College of Art and Design. I have worked throughout my studies/career developing brand identities, digital interfaces, advertising materials, visual layouts, and responsive web experiences that balance aesthetics with usability. I’ve practiced creative direction and conceptual development amongst a variety of projects. I aim to create eye-catching and visually engaging designs through unique work. Bridging the gap between creativity and strategy is what I do best, approaching each project with empathy, research, and attention to detail.
Design is all about thinking differently and getting your work/brand noticed.
A deep appreciation for aesthetics naturally informs both my work and daily life as a creative. I enjoy exploring new environments through travel and discovering new foods and experiences alongside friends and family. My passion extends across all forms of art and visual beauty, continually inspiring my perspective as a designer. In my downtime, I enjoy music as well as reading and relaxing with my cat Mew Mew, who loves to lie by my laptop as I work.
Part of being a designer/creative is being able to discern quality in a high aesthetic standard.
